Ozev Grant Changes February 16, 2022 The generous Electric Vehicle Home Charge Scheme (EVHS) offered by the Office of Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) will be phased off by the end of March 2022. This implies that electric car owners who live in their own homes will no longer be eligible to apply for a grant covering 75% of the expenses (up to £350) of installing an electric vehicle charging outlet at their residence. From 1 April 2022, EV owners who own their own home will be required to pay the whole cost of establishing a charging point at their residence.
